NL | Na een eerdere succesvolle editie is God Save the Queers terug! Ervaar de ultieme viering van queer artiesten en muziek in Cinetol op 15 december. Zorg dat je klaar bent voor een avond vol burlesque, sluttiness en k-u-n-t met muziek van Kylie, Britney, 80s house en garage. God Save the Queers betekent loslaten en onbeschaamd jezelf zijn.

NL | Charlene Coco – performer and DJ

Charlene Coco, winnaar van de ‘New Drag in Town competitie van 2020 heeft nu een vaste avond in Amstel 54 samen met haar sister Elle Diablo. Charlene heeft haar performance altijd gebruikt om politieke statements te maken. Deze statement gingen onder andere over klimaatverandering & Brexit. Tegenwoordig geeft Charlene meer bloot van zichzelf (op alle manieren…).

Hamish Hunkydory – performer

Na de kroon van Schotland te hebben gedragen en harten te hebben gebroken in Londen, arriveert King Hamish Hunkydory in 2019 in de Amsterdamse scène.

Hamish is een charismatische jongen die een unieke mix van sensualiteit en onweerstaanbare charme combineert – en zijn kit uittrekt voor mensenrechten. Hij laat je alleen maar meer van zijn hete Schotse flair willen.

JO.JOE – performer

JO.JOE is een multidisciplinaire artiest die elementen van clubkid-drag, dans, theater en punk combineert in een energieke performance en daarnaast elementen van gender uitdaagt met hun esthetiek.

SAFIYA – DJ

SAFIYA is de mede oprichten en host van RepresentAsian. De organisatie maakt een plek voor een inclusief nachtleven om dit te bereiken organiseren ze evenementen in Bristol en Amsterdam. Verwacht een hoop Bollywood, Afrodesi, Arabische muziek gemixt met amapiano, UK funk en garage.

Ri-Baddest – DJ 

Ri-Baddest is een multi-genre DJ die Afrobeats/amapiano/R&B/hip hop/UK garage en funky/dancehall/soulful edits draait en nog veel meer. Als je naar haar mixen luistert, krijg je een warm en donzig gevoel van binnen. Rhi is hier om ervoor te zorgen dat iedereen het naar zijn zin heeft, zijn hart uit zingt en meedanst!

Charlene Coco – performer and DJ

Charlene Coco, winner of 2020’s ‘New Drag in Town’ competition in Amsterdam, now has a regular night at Amstel 54 with her sister Elle Diablo. Charlene has used her drag to make political statements ranging from climate change, Brexit, the British Monarchy and Britney’s conservatorship. However more recently, she has found liberation in showing off more of herself (in all ways…). Charlene will also be on the decks so chuck on those dancing shoes and a strappy top and let’s go!

Hamish Hunkydory – performer

Having held the crown of Scotland and broken hearts in London, King Hamish Hunkydory arrived in the Amsterdam scene in 2019.

Hamish is a charismatic lad who combines a unique blend of sensuality and irresistible charm – and gets his kit off for human rights. He’ll only leave you wanting more of his hot Scottish flair.

SAFIYA is the co-founder and host of RepresentAsian. Organising parties across Bristol and Amsterdam, SAFIYA is here to curate a community celebrating inclusivity across nightlife. Expect lots of Bollywood, Afrodesi and Arabic music mixed into your favourite Amapiano, UK Funk and Garage.
