NL | Kebu is een componist en kunstenaar uit Finland, die instrumentale en melodieuze, elektronische muziek maakt, beïnvloed door het soort dat in de jaren ’70 en ’80 werd gemaakt. Zijn muziek onderscheidt zich niet alleen door een bekwame omgang met analoge synthese, maar ook door een publieksboeiend live optreden – zijn YouTube-kanaal heeft meer dan 100 miljoen views en fans van over de hele wereld getrokken. Kebu heeft al een indrukwekkende ervaring opgebouwd door te toeren door Europa, waar hij ruim honderd concerten heeft gegeven in dertien verschillende landen. Zijn concerten stralen warmte en vreugde uit en pronken met een enorm arsenaal aan analoge synths, dat doet denken aan de beste solo-synthesizerartiesten uit het gouden tijdperk. Kebu is in 2018 en 2022 bekroond met de Best International Artist Award tijdens de Duitse Schallwelle Music Awards.

Op zijn nieuwe tournee door Europa zal Kebu zijn eigen composities uitvoeren naast nummers van zijn nieuwe album “Synthesizer Legends – Volume 1” – een verzameling covers van bekende en minder bekende instrumentale synthesizerpareltjes uit de jaren tachtig. Voor deze tour brengt Kebu opnieuw een indrukwekkende keyboardinstallatie mee die uitsluitend bestaat uit analoge synthesizers en analoge drummachines.

On his new tour in Europe Kebu will perform his own compositions alongside songs from his new “Synthesizer Legends – Volume 1” album – a collection of cover tunes of famous and less well-known instrumental synthesizer gems from the eighties. For this tour, Kebu brings again an impressive keyboard rig consisting only of analog synthesizers and analog drum machines.
